I will take care of your precious wraps.
The services I offer come from a true passion for babywearing. As a serialchurner myself I know some wraps really can use some love and care. My goal is to restore your beloved items to its original state. I also fringe wraps the price indication is based on a Ringsling.

Spa Treatment
A spa-treatment is more then a basic wash. Before washing I will check your wrap, fix up to 2 broken threads or 2 big pulls (can fix more, additional fee will be discussed beforehand) and ALL the tiny pulls I find.
when using your precious wraps, dirt, drool/spit and dust and sometimes spills from food or drinks pile up in the fibres of the fabric. You would need to wash them often to prevent your wrap from becoming a snack for critters.
Often wraps also loose their shine when using them a lot, exposing them to rain or dirty surfaces or when using too much or not using the right products during washing.
Before washing I will check the wrap and fix small pulls if needed. If I find more then 2 broken threads or 2 big pulls I will contact you before fixing.
I will also check for permacrease, damage and/or stains. After this I will handwash your wrap with special products for the fibres of your wrap that are as scent free as possible.
After washing I rinse in a bath of water without soap and repeat this process till the water is clear. Then I will check if I need to repeat the process.
Then I airdry your wrap. When dry, I will check your wrap again: defuzz by hand if needed, press if needed and steam your wrap on a low temp to get the shine and sleakness back.
This whole process takes up to 3 days. When your wrap is up I will update you with pictures of the process.
Please note I am not sending you these pics during washing but after all the steps.
Fixing Critterdamage
It will never be the same again but damagecontrol is a must. You don’t want that tiny hole to become a giant tear. I will fix the damage in the best way possible in the same color as the yarn those critters ate up. you will not see my fix on the other side of the wrap.
At the moment I am taking limited bookings for this service due to the high demand on spa-treatments.
Fringe your Ringsling
I will fringe your wrap and lock it to keep the fringe in place. Sometimes this is a good solution if you want critterdamaged to be fixed with actual yarn of the wrap. Or just if you want to be cool ;)
Fringes are classy and timeless. If I have to cut it straight, the leftover scraps will be returned to you.
I also fringe baby blankets or long wraps on both sides. The price indication is based on 1 side. If you want fringes on both sides the price will be double.
Mend holes and tears
I will mend holes and tears by securing new threads on good parts around the holes or tears. Please note that it is not for esthetic purposes but purely for safety if you decide to keep using it.
DISCLAIMER: However, if a wrap or carrier starts to show signs of weakness in the fibres and the fabric becomes poureus due to external factors or old age I am not responsible if the carrier or wrap tears or breaks on other places or at the base of the new woven piece.
It is always at your own risk if you decide to keep yousing your item for babywearing.
Please note: due to the high demand of spa service I only am able to offer this service when discussed beforehand when you ALSO booked a spa for the item (the mending is excluded in the price and you will be given a quote beforehand)
